Kerimat Foundation is a safe and loving home for vulnerable children, children with special needs, teenage mothers and babies in Jattu, Edo State. Founded by Barrister Aisha Osigwe and commissioned on 17 August 2024.
Our Mission
Every child who comes into Kerimat Foundation is welcomed with care, dignity and protection. We provide shelter, daily meals, education support, baby care, special needs support, emotional care and a safe home environment where vulnerable children and young mothers can begin again.

Founding Trustees
Kerimat Foundation was established in memory of the late Kerimatu Baba Saliu Egele, whose love for children and the elderly inspired the mission of the home.
The foundation is led by registered trustees, Aisha Osigwe and Joyce Nene Wilson Osigwe.
Barrister Aisha Osigwe is a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria and the UK with decades of advocacy experience. Although UK based, she is physically present in Nigeria to oversee the work of the home. Joyce Nene Wilson Osigwe is a registered trustee and part of the family legacy behind the organisation's mission.

Every donation helps provide food, clothing, shelter, education, baby supplies, medical support and daily welfare for the children and young mothers in our care.

We do not publish names, faces or identifying details of the children in our care. The stories shared are written carefully to show the impact of safety, shelter and support.

Supporters can donate clothes, baby clothes, baby food, baby wears, diapers, Pampers, sanitary pads, food items, toiletries, bedding, school supplies and other essentials.
You can deliver items in person, send a package from anywhere, or order through Jumia or another trusted Nigerian online marketplace and have the items delivered directly to the home.
